Dmitry Pikulin

Together with Anffany Chen, Tianyu Liu, and Marcel Franz we have studied properties of the Weyl and Dirac semimetals. In particular, we have addressed the effects of pseudo-magnetic and -electric fields created in the material using strain.

We made a number of experimental predictions, including negative pseudo-magneto-resistance, radiation caused by chiral anomaly, and continuously tunable quantum oscillations in absence of magnetic field.
